1. How we use personal data

Sales and marketing: contact and identification information, information needed to purchase our products and services, profile, role and preferences, login credentials, digital activity information and other relevant information (e.g. information from publicly available sources) for the following purposes: sales and marketing, advertising, creating and delivering targeted adverts and offers, organising marketing campaigns, managing contacts and preferences, generating opportunities, organising and managing events preparing offers and engaging in social media interactions.
Online Data Collection Tools: digital activity information to facilitate efficient use of our websites, collecting statistical data to optimise the functionality of our websites, improving user experience and delivering personalised content; and improving marketing and advertising campaigns.
Enquiries and complaints: contact details and information included in enquires and complaints for the main purpose.
Selectium sites or services may provide links to third-party applications, products, services or websites for your convenience or information. We may also provide social media features that enable you to share information with your social networks and to interact with us on various social media sites. Selectium does not control third party sites or their privacy practices and we do not endorse or make any representations about third party sites. The personal data you choose to provide to or that is collected or shared by these third parties is not covered by this Privacy Statement. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you interact with before allowing the collection and use of your personal data.
2. How we share personal data
Selectium does not rent, lease or sell personal data to others, except as laid out in this Privacy Statement. We may share and/or disclose your personal data as follows:
Disclosure within the Selectium group of companies, partners and marketing aganecies. Selectium may disclose your personal data as necessary within the group of companies in connection with how we use your personal data.
Disclosure to third parties. Selectium retains suppliers and service providers to manage or support its business operations, provide professional services, deliver products, services and customer solutions and to assist Selectium with marketing and sales communication initiatives. The third parties may receive and process your personal data under appropriate instructions, as necessary to support and facilitate the use your personal data. Suppliers and service providers are contractually obligated to keep the information they process secure and confidential on behalf of Selectium and may not use it for any purpose other than to carry out the services for Selectium.
Selectium may disclose your personal data to business partners, resellers and/or distributors in order to facilitate sales and delivery of products and services. Partners, resellers and/or distributors are contractually obliged to keep the information from Selectium secure and confidential and may use it solely for the said purposes, unless otherwise authorised by you personally or by applicable laws and regulations.
Except as described in this Privacy Statement, Selectium will not share your personal data with third parties without your approval, unless to: (i) respond to authorised information requests by police and governmental authorities; (ii) comply with law, regulation, subpoena or court order; (iii) enforce or protect the rights and properties of Selectium or its subsidiaries; or (iv) protect the rights or personal safety of Selectium, our employees and third parties on or using Selectium property when allowed and in each case in accordance with applicable law.
3. How we transfer personal data
Selectium may transfer your personal data within the Selectium group of companies and to other third parties if necessary. The recipients may be situated in countries which do not have the same level of data protection as your country. Selectium will aim to ensure personal data we transfer is adequately protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Where required by local law, we will ask for your consent to transfer your personal data.
4. How to manage communications and preferences?
Selectium may provide you with information that supplements our products, services and/or communications about our events and offers. If you personally or your organisation purchased our products or services, you may receive notifications or responses to support requests that are an integral part of our colloboration. If you opt to receive Selectium communications you may also opt to subscribe to receive newsletters and publications. In certain cases, you may also choose to receive the information and communication by email, telephone or post.
Managing communication choices. You can revise your choices and preferences relating to Selectium communications by sending email to local Selectium office.
Please take into consideration that these options do not apply to communications relating to orders, contracts, support, safety warnings or other notices, where the main purpose is not promotional but business nature.
5. Automatic Data Collection Tools
How Selectium uses Automatic Data Collection Tools. Selectium web sites use cookies, web beacons and other similar technologies (collectively referred to as Automatic Data Collection Tools), to remember log-in details, collect statistics to optimise functionality, improve user experience and deliver tailored content.
Selectium also allows third-party advertising companies to use cookies on our web sites in order to optimise advertisements and marketing and to serve advertisements tailored to your interests on other websites. Selectium may use retargeting and behavioural advertising technologies, a set of practices collectively known as “Interest Based Advertising” to customise those advertisements to your perceived interests.
Cookies may also be used when you share information using a social media sharing button on our websites. The social network will record your actions and may use this information to send you targeted advertisements. The types of cookies used by these companies, as well as the way they use the information is regulated by their own privacy policies.
As you enter your contact details on a web form on an selectium.com site, in order to subscribe to a service, download a white paper or request information about products and service, your contact details may be stored in a cookie on your device. This information is accessed on subsequent visits to selectium.com sites, enabling us to track and record the sites you have visited and the links you have clicked, in order to personalise your on-line experience and future communications.
If you choose to receive marketing emails or newsletters, we may track whether you’ve opened those messages and whether you’ve clicked on links contained within those messages by using web beacons and personalised URLs embedded in these communications. This enables us to personalise future communications and limit these communucations only to subjects that are of interest to you.

Selectium aims to keep your personal data accurate. We have introduced technology, processes and policies to help maintain data accuracy. In accordance with applicable laws, Selectium provides individuals with reasonable access to personal data and the reasonable ability to review and correct it by contacting local office.
7. How we keep personal data secure
We take very seriously the trust you place in us to protect your personal information. In order to protect your personal data from loss, unauthorised access, use or disclosure, Selectium utilises reasonable and appropriate physical, technical and administrative procedures to safeguard the information we collect and process.
All personal data is stored on computer systems located in controlled facilities, where access is restricted to Selectium employees or authorised third parties who must know that information in order to process it, and who are subject to strict confidentiality agreements.
8. How long we keep personal data
As a general rule, personal data is stored over the entire course of any contractual relationship and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, after the end of that relationship for as long as necessary to perform purposes laid out in this Privacy Statement, to protect Selectium from legal claims and conduct our business. When we no longer need to use personal data, we delete it from our systems and records or take steps to anonymise the data unless we need to store it for a longer period of time in order to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

Our privacy practices are in alignment with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are located in the European Union (EU). Companies from the Selectium group of companies may act as data controllers in connection to your personal data for the processing of personal data detailed in this Privacy Statement.
